This listing is for a Cateye CS1000 cyclosimulator turbo trainer. These were made in the late 80’s and early 90’s and are really the rolls royce of trainers. The resistance is created by a constant fan and an adjustable magnetic resistance operated by a tacx cable operated handle bar lever that I added. Because of the design of the lever the dial shows minimum resistance is 10 and max resistance is 1. Designed to attach to both the rear axle and the front forks they are super stable when doing out of the saddle full bore sprints. I use one of these with Zwift via a crank based power meter and an ANT dongle into a laptop. I have never found it lacking in features. I have put down over 1000W in a sprint and the bike was super stable. Included are a pair of axle cups that I machined for the rear axle. They are designed to work with an old style quick release. Also there is a quick release to suit drop out type forks. Compatability with newer solid and threaded axles will need to be checked. This listing is for the trainer as pictured.
